This enhancement penalty sounds more like the inverse of bulls strength. Does that mean that a first level spell that gives a tempeary, ranged strength enhancement of 1d6+1 per level as a first level spell is viable? This does not make sense to me. Are there any other spells the give an "enhancement penalty" in this way? I could guess lesser geas, but I don't know.
