It's not on the news yet, but you folks get to see it first! I interviewed Monte and the original Planescape designers regarding Malhavoc's upcoming planar book Beyond Countless Doorways. Go check it out.

http://www.enworld.org/forums/article.php?a=91

Wherein we learn the embarrassing origins of the baernoloth, the secret identity of the Lady of Pain, the truth behind Faction War, various snippets about the new 18 planes in BCD, and how Malhavoc got permission to do a "Planescape reunion" book. You'll also see ten pieces of new art for the book.

It's my first interview; let me know what you think!

Which reminds me: The seriously disturbing full-length “Broken” video was an inspiration for just about all the Lower Planes, but most especially anything having to do with the Abyss.
Anyone know to which video he is referring?

Thanks Kev!

Great interview, especailly for a first one. Really got them talking... Was it a nervewracking experience?

5th August for the PDF version... I can feel my credit card itching in my pocket already! :D

Great interview, especailly for a first one. Really got them talking... Was it a nervewracking experience?

Bastards drank all my beer and mowed through my snacks in about ten minutes flat.

Seriously? Nah, it was totally painless. I asked people here and at Nutkinland for questions, I added my own and edited the whole lot before sending it off to Sue Cook. she got the responses from all the guys and dropped them in place. I did final editing, added formatting and art, and there you go! I'm really pleased how it came out.

And I'm going to have to endure all the Simpsons jokes that my players can toss at me this weekend because of Ray's spawn action figure and the voice they gave it. ;)

They'll never shudder at a Baernaloth again! Aww what am I saying, I made my players cry before from one of those things. I'll just have to consider it a challange now to do it again.

Edit: I am so buying this book as soon as I can

I'm really looking forward to this book too. I plan to send my players on a "whirlwind ride" through various planes down the road in my campaign and this book will fit in perfectly.

I wish the interview had a little more about the book itself and a little less Planescape discussion. Still good overall though.
