Glassjaw, try these links.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up.

Wow, I might be able to run my whole campaign from this book!

I plan to "introduce" my players to an item down the road that is essentially a divining rod for portals scattered across the Realms. The item/artifact is alien in origin but they won't know much about it at first. It leads them to various portals but they don't know why. It will then be up to them to decide if they enter the portal and find out what's non the other side or not (some go to other planes, some don't). They'll also have to discover why the artifact is leading them to these portals and what will happen if they don't enter the portals. Ooh, I'm nasty. :]

So essentially I could pick a different chapter from the book eaech time they enter a portal. Fun!

Of course, you could just go all the way and let it be a d-hopper with the keys scrambled. ;)

I loved Sliders. It was such a good show, but I so rarely got to see it. I've been wanting to start a campaign based on this concept for ages, I just never have. Planeshopping is fun, and when you don't know if you'll ever get home again, it builds party unity.

I loved the interview, and the product seems to be something that I will look at to incorporate into my games. I think that we learned a lot about how Planescape developed, as well as the views of the designers on planar adventures. Well done, Piratecate!!

This is a really nice interview. Thanks, Piratecat!

I'm looking forward to this book. It looks good, despite all of the PS references... the Kir-Li'in preview really convinced me of that.

Great interview PC! I've never been a big fan of PS, but your interview gave me insight into what its creators liked about the setting, as well as about BCD, and I'll definitely have to check out the new book :D
