I'm trying to think of feats that would let someone turns "cramped" sneak attacks (like the the CoAd Ninja's Surprise Strike, or those "sneak attack but only with one kind of weapon" damage dice a few prestige classes have) into full-blown Sneak Attacks.
How could it be balanced? Would one feat be enough to "generalize" all quasi-sneak-attack dice, or would the feat need to affect only a set maximum number of dice (like up to 3d6), with stacking effect so that it could be taken multiple times?
Also, I'm trying to find a similar way to broaden skirmish into sneak attacks, and maybe the reverse. I think that allowing skirmish damage to give sneak attack damage on a 1-for-1 basis would be balanced, but in the reverse, it should be 2-for-1 (2 sneak attack dice give 1 skirmish dice and +1 dodge).
Any suggestion?
