Got at least 6 inches, probably more, haven't gone outside yet. It's still snowing, waiting for it to stop to shovel. Guess I'll have to in a few hours one way or the other, though.
It's still coming down lightly in Boston, but I just shoveled 6" to 8". I had a fine holiday moment as a neighbor with a snow blower came by while I was doing my driveway, and he did the long, long sidewalk section for me.
Darned Appalachian Mountains insulated us quite a bit here. We were supposed to get 2-4 inches, but it's been considerably less than that. I feel cheated.
As far as I'm concerned, if you can still see the grass sticking up from under the snow, it hasn't really snowed yet.
Here in the UK we've got heavy snow followed by lots of freezing weather. I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to be able to get safely to the rail station tomorrow to go to work in London.
*shrug* It's my last day before the holiday, so if I miss it I won't be that upset!
Ok, was definitely over a foot, at least 14 inches. Oh my god was that a lot to shovel! Don't even know why I bothered to do it all when i have nowhere to go tomorrow.
