It's a really good film. You might not like it if you're partial to, ahem, super-literal worldbuilding, ie the world of the film makes no bones about being plausible.

The director, Bong Joon-Ho, made the finest modern giant monster movies, The Host, and Park Chan-Wook is a one of producers, i.e. the director of the cult classic Oldboy. You can really see his influence in one of the best scenes in Snowpiercer.
