Gleemax is providing an area for user-generated D&D content ... with a bit of organisation, I bet that the community will have working translations for the major sourcebooks rather quickly.

Just a thought for anyone who was considering selling their 3.5 books

If you buy into the Digital Initiative it will probably be easier to just "re imagine" the character from the ground up. Using their character generation programs, if they actually make full working programs for once.

And as they have also said, anything appearing on that site will be theirs to take and use as they see fit in future products. How to get the fans to provide playtesting, R&D and future supplements to sell back to their originators (who I'm willing to bet will not be acknowledged on the stuff).
