So Chainmail is over?

I have heard that WotC have officially announced that Chainmail line is over. Is that true? And do they continue to make non-chainmail D&D minis or completely stop making minis?

Chainmail, as a brand, is gone. However, they have announced that they will be relaunchin their minis game under a new title and with new rules. They will be 'backwards compatible' with the old Chainmail figures, so you can still use all your old minis in the new game.
