So gameday how did it go??

I ran over at Black Sun Games.

We went from about... 12:30 PM till about... 4:00 PM.

My group was all youths (16 I believe, brought friends of one of the store owner's daughter.)

They claimed to have experience with 2e but not 4e. I took about 30 minutes to go over some different options, what the different types of defenses were, how saving throws worked, etc...

They had several challenging encounters but managed to triumpth in the end.

Another GM was running about the same time as me and his group also meet with success.

they can only do the eat once per encounter and there are only two rust monsters and the attack is really low on it.

As someone else mentioned, this attack is reliable. My rust monster also took several swings before it rusted the barbarian's maul. Also, the attack is at +9, and it targets reflex. That will hit more often than not!
