D&D 5E So I have a theory about the big Adventure next year and I want to share it with you guys (So you can inevitably tell me how wrong I am)

I'm not sure about the RoSP, but I feel fairly confident there will be a Feywild adventure (either part or whole) in the near future.
For sure, they have explicitly hinted at exploring the Feywild lately, and built a lot of material into the books. Then again, those aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, they haven't been above mixing concepts.

The Feywild would have the advantage of not stepping on a classic adventures toes, being a bit more original.

The Rod of Seven parts lore is such an integral part of my campaign since the 80s-90s that I kinda hope they dont.

I'm tired of being told I'm copying stuff after it suddenly becomes popular again. "Oh Rod of Seven parts, yeah you got that idea from that new adventure..."

On the other hand, it would likely update stuff I could use (pilfer) for my cosmos. :)

I would love the whole thing to take place in the Feywild as a kind of dark & dangerous fairy tale. (In other words, like an authentic fairy tale...)

Wrong! So tremendously wrong. It's amazing how bigly wrong you are. so wrong.

(Sorry, you practically asked for it.)

I don't know about being the *next* adventure, but it's very likely to be sometime soon given all the foreshadowing.

The Rod of Seven Parts featured into the live stream games last summer during the Storm King's Thunder storyline.
I doubt they would have used that there, had they plans to use it elsewhere. They would have just teased its existence more and not made it a centrepiece of both Force Grey and Aquisitions Incorporated.

I hope you are correct.

That would certainly give the PCs that finished the other adventure paths something to do after saving just the one world.

That being said, considering that most of them end around 15th level, assuming PCs make it to that level, that only gives five levels or so to run through.

I hope Planescape be an epic level campaign
