So I have this mad idea.

I have copies of T1-4, A1-4, and GDQ 1-7, along with several other older modules that I picked up for cheap this summer. They are not in the best condition -- significant cover wear and page markup -- but they are complete. I could auction them off on eBay for about $20-odd, but I was thinking, maybe, I would take them to a print shop and have them hardbound with new, color laser-printed covers from the original cover art, or maybe stamped psuedoleather or something like that. These would be unique and potentially quite beautiful items. The question I have is: would you pay for an object like this, and if so, how much? Also, would you pay to have this done to your own books?

I might pay to bind up some of my materials that are falling apart, but probably wouldn't go as all-out as you are describing. I wouldn't pay more than about $10 to rebind several items into one binding.

i think it sounds like a lot of fun but it is the kind of fun i would save for a homebrew or campaign log or some such.

i would do simple binding for the materials in question, but i do like the idea :)

Also, would it be legal? You don't have the right to reproduce that cover art and then sell it for a profit. If you go with pseudoleather, be careful of what you stamp on it. If you use copyrighted images you're probably breaking the law.
