D&D 5E So, the new totem animals for SCAG Barbarians?

Legend
As you know by now, the Elk totem provides +15 Speed, double travel pace, and a peculiar ability to move through other creatures (at levels 3, 6 and 14 as usual).

The Tiger gives out better leaps/jumps, two skills out of Athletics, Acrobatics, Stealth and Survival, and bonus attack when "charging" a foe.

At 3rd level, the Elk's +15 Speed is a worthy contender to the Bear totem. (Wolf and Eagle aren't bad, but they are specialized). I find Tiger worthless unless your DM insists on terrain broken enough that you need to jump around all the time.

At 6th level, Tiger is attractive. Thank the gods you're allowed to minmax/cherrypick the best totem at each level! But you will need careful planning here, since you will have to make sure your character hasn't picked up three or more of these skills already. Elk is very impressive in the Out of the Abyss adventure, but something minmaxing players would prefer if somebody else in the party took and not them... ;)

The 14th level abilities continue the tradition of bringing decidedly unimpressive stuff for 14th level to the table. None of the Totemic Attunement options would be out of place at low level. At 14th level? Yawn. If we disregard this, I guess charging bonus attacks aren't bad. Bear looks "tanky", but it's trivial to move outside the effect before making your attack. Eagle isn't half bad considering you can now have a speed of 50 feet even before you take magic into account.
