So Vig is writing Haven d20...

@Vigilance
I would like to point out that Green Ronin was one of the first, if not the first print publisher that supported D20 Modern with Ultra Modern Firearms.

Note that I said game lines. Quite a few individual products were produced. When it came time to make a game line/continuing series of products, GR tapped the Game Mechanics who I mention above, so my statement stands fairly well.

I would respectfully disagree slightly with your interpretation of Louis' comments.

Fair enough. I appreciate your candor. I just question whether the whole "guerilla warfare v. WotC" and "I'm only doing this for the money" schtick is the most effective way to sell the game.

I don't recall the Continental Army ever deliberately targeting civilians or Washington ever sending suicide bombers to blow up pubs in England.

But they did attack businesses and use the excuse of taxing luxury items (not basic neccesities) for a warcry (Tea Party anyone?)

You are taking his comment too literal. He's more reminding us that during their own time, our forefathers weren't seen in the same light we see them now, after we have sanitized and worshipped them.

Lest we forget:

"Every man is created equal" meant only "Every rich British farmers and businessman" back in 1776, the idea of "white" didn't include any other Causcasian (never mind other races) nationalities.

To quote " To Wong Foo, With Love," a movie about drag queens ...

Rural Sheriff: "What would our forefathers think?!?"
Old Man: "They wore some pretty wigs back then."

So, Chuck, how far along are we into the process of getting Haven up to D20 Modern specs? Any ETA on when it might be done?

No idea. My deadline for the manuscript is 6 weeks which I will hit (easily I think). Having done a few books, from there some "flex" enters the timeline.

Editors and artists are the problem. You can rarely drag them out of their opium dens or wherever it is that they live between gigs to get books done on time.

I think I might be in trouble for saying that lol.
