D&D 5E So...Volo, Xanathar...who's next?

I'm not sure about another compilation of adventures. Considering the deal they made with Goodman Games (In Search of the Unknown & The Keep on the Borderlands), they may start farming out classic conversions to other companies.

I think the next region they cover will probably be Thay, but that is just my guess. Tam's Guide to ... I don't know.

In what practical senses is Xanathar a "dude"? Beholders don't have a phallic eyestalk do they?

*Frantically scribbles down Xanathar eyestalk fan fiction.*

Well, Xanathar is a terrible, awful fantasy name. Maybe we'll see his brother Xanthan gum.

The only way it could be worse is to add some apostrophe'''''''s.

Xan'thar and his more evil twin brother Xan'than, the mighty gum chewer.

I imagine Szass Tam would have an agony aunt type column. "Dear Szass, don't judge me but I'm seeing a revenant and we were in love. Sure, he started out real attentive but now he just mutters about "his purpose". Aren't I his purpose? Yours, LovelornSkeleton"

Durnan's guide to Undermountain, perhaps?

I do like the Nezram's Guide to the Planes angle, also Drizzt's Guide to Icewind Dale (or the North)...

I would LOVE to see a rehash of the Damara/Vaasa region, coupled with a rehash of the "Throne of Bloodstone" series, as an intro to high-level play (a "Mythic-Level Play book," if you will.) However, that might be a bit too far-fetched to gain a large audience.

Nah, Xanathar's brother is Xylitol, who has snakelike eyestalks instead of insectoid ones and a smoother skin texture. He also lives above ground, because his lairs have fewer cavities.
