I have football in my forecast as well... but only because I am a teacher and have duty at my High Schoo's game tonight. Four hours of crowd control, threats of violence, cursing, drugs, and oh yeah, football. Pray for me.:D
Pray so you will have luck in battle, slay many enemies and sit by Odin's side if you are slain?

And I will celebrate, but only becasue I'm out of here. Time to go run part 2 of my game. There will be blood tonight :D

:( I dont think that I had *any* blood in my last game . . .

Cuz blasters and laser swords tend to cauterize whenever they hit!

Use vibro-axes and bite attacks, then...

Oops! You mean we should have waited for you?
Sorry about that... :o

::sob:: you ::sob:: didn't ::sob:: wait for me? ::wail of despair::

oh well. Time to pack up and go find a band of cavement who think I'm god because I wear tennis shoes. *sigh* (musically) On the roooooaaaaad, again!

hmmm. Perhaps my lack of enthusiasm today comes from the game Diplomacy. I have had about as many armies as the other 4 players combined for the past 18 turns, and they finally decided to work together to quell the PHerian Empire. Lost Naples and Rome.

BTW, does anyone know of a 20th century Diplomacy game (NOT axis and allies)? I think that would be major cool.

actually, not star wars.

It's a custom setting, really cool. in the first encounter, Corlon charged a cop, grabbed a frikin *HUGE* blaster cannon from him (this thing dealt like 3d9 on a direct hit, 2d8 indirect, and 1d8 if you were just nearby) and fried the it's former owner with it. That was definitely the highlight of the game.

'twas using the "Grim and Gritty HP system" from Sleeping Imperium.

Hmm... I can't seem to recall hearing of this game... Any hints on what it's like? :)

Still, bite attacks are plentiful - and vibro-weapons are hardly exclusive to SW...

Frying a cop was the highlight of the game? I hope it was a corrupt or sadistic cop (or a not-so-nice PC party)! :p
