Pathfinder 1E So what's up with Pathfinder minis?

I noticed that too. It makes me sad, but the minis do exist (if that is even what you are hinting at). I bought one of each at Origins. I am hopeful that I'll be able to pick up more at Gen Con or that my FLGS (actually more FGS as I actually order most stuff from a game store where I used to live) will get them in. I also suggest looking at the website for Crocodile Games- looks like they have them for sale.

As I recall several of the figures first appeared in their "Compleat Encounters" mini + adventure sets.

Maybe they ran out of their first batch originally made up for these?

Many also came from their Ptolus mini line. They had been trying to decide what to do with that line then changed it to pathfinder.

There are several lines of minis that shouldn't be confused.

There are the Pathfinder adventure minis. These are all brand new and are all done by Crocodile Games. I bought some from Coolminiornot game store.

There are the Compleate Encounter minis.

There are the Ptlous minis now rebranded into Pathfinder Chronicles minis.

I believe the latter two share some common scultpors but am not sure.

This doesn't count limited edition figs like the writhing corpses or the attacking dragon by Megaminis.

Is Pathfinder as dependent on minis as 4e is? I haven't had a chance to really read or play Pathfinder yet, is why I'm asking. I'm probably still going to pick it up at Gen Con, mainly because I can't think of anything else I'm going to want - except a couple of books at the Green Ronin booth.

Pathfinder is a derivative of d20, so Pathfinder is about equal to 3.X when it comes to minis.

That is to say, if you used minis for 3.X, you'll use them for Pathfinder.
