So, where is the GSL?!

They probably have to put it up on the site somewhere, or figure out where it's going to go.

June 6th doesn't mean "June 6th at midnight EDT".

As they are on the west coast I will give them till at least 12pm eastern time to show up and until 9pm eastern before complaining that they haven't posted it yet.

You're in Sweden, so there is at least 8 or 9 hours difference in time zones. WotC legitimately has 'til end of their business day to get it up. But earlier is better!

I havent seen it. I dont have any idea when we are going to see it.

We all, appropriately, calmed down when some of the GSL "clarifications" were announced.

But the silence regarding the GSL has been deafening.

Scott, Linae, anyone? Help us out here please :)

That's certainly the way their Content Management System have been working with all other articles. They put it onto the system for a certain date of publication and at midnight (EST/EDT = the timezone where their servers are) on that date it will automatically appear on the web site.

It's not like some web monkey is handcrafting a complete HTML page everytime. It should have been ready and waiting in the CMS yesterday, at the latest.

Well, since you mentioned their CMS, my theory is they really need to define an area in the new 4e site for this, and my bet is they're not sure where to put it. Where would this go?

The GSL really is it's own category since it's meant for publishers not the general gamers, and perhaps they are setting up their own area for it, like the d20 area is where the OGL/SRD is now. Right now they don't have an appropriate place on the page to put it. So I'm wondering if it's not there now because the CMS and/or templates aren't ready to handle it.

But then again, they could've put it in news, like they did with the NDA FAQ. But maybe they don't think it's relevant to the "general audience".

Ok, so by my readings, its the end of the business day now, right?

That would depend on when their business day ends. :)

But they have another couple of hours I would guess before the business day ends on their end of the country.
