So, who's getting a Xbox 360 on launch day?

PS3 for me. No XBox360 unless something more impressive than what I've currently seen comes along. I can just play Elder Scrolls IV on my PC. Revolution might win me over. Just depends on how well they integrate that nifty new controller into their games. It seems clear that Nintendo will work it in nicely with it's own 1st party stuff, but the 3rd party developers never do as good a job, if history is anything to go by.

At the EB in my town you can just get the console if you like and nothing else which is wierd since no one else seems to be doing it. Long as I get Elder Scrolls for my PC I'll be happy this year. Besides Gears of War and Ghost Recon aren't launch titles those were the ones I was really looking for.

I'll get one eventually and a PS3 too when I get around to it. However Nintendo will not get my money ever again even if they put both Sony and MS out of the market. I've bought two consoles from the BIg N that ended up being a waste of my money. They will not get me again (ohh yeah same goes for Sega if they ever produce a console again).

I'll be waiting to get mine. No launch titles really catch my eye outside of Elder Scrolls. Plus $400 is still alot of money even for just a system.

I'll likely have to get one at some point for work, but as I just got the xbox shortly after starting my current job, I'm gonna have to wait awhile, or my wife (who organized all my family and friends into chipping in for the xbox) will kill me. :)

BioWare's Mass Effect will be an xbox exclusive, but it's not expected to ship until late 2006 or early 2007. I'll be grabbing Elder Scrolls, at the very least, to see what the competition is doing. :) It looks really really beautiful from what I've seen so far.

Waiting for the PS/3, and I'm prepared to wait a while for that to go down in price.

I don't actually use the PS/2 that much (it spends more time as a DVD player), and I live in a small apartment, so I just don't have room for more than one system.

The reason they bundle 'em is they know (or think) that there will be a shortage, and that people will buy stuff they don't really want just to buy the console itself.

Anyway, I thought about it briefly, but that was before I had to buy a new copy of Windows XP, a new video card, and a clothes dryer.

I will get one eventually. For Forza 2, the various Bioware games and apparently there is a new Tokyo Xtreme Racer game in the works. But that will be at least a year after the launch. Probably 18 months. SHould be cheaper then, too.

I'm not. I took one look at the launch titles and then the bundles most places are selling and while I'm usually okay with it if 2/3 of the titles are good - I was immediately turned off. Something like $600 for a bunch of games I'll never play and one good one (Elder Scrolls IV) that may or may not actually be out in time for launch. Bleh.
My feelings exactly. I'm not all that interested in the Xbox 360 yet, and it'll be awhile I think before games I'm interested in will be coming out.

I'll get it eventually, but only when the price drops to something that befits what's only an Xbox 1.5.

I don't see why anyone would buy the cheaper one. If you're already spending the money, the extra cash is totally worth what you get in return.
Because you don't need anything that comes with the more expensive package.
I was initially not going to buy a Xbox. But then KotOR came out and I'm a whore for graphics so they got me. I said the same pre-launch about the Cube but then Capcom announced that Resident Evil was only on the it. Grr.
 And you got screwed twice, since they came out for other systems!

Ah well, such is the lesson of jumping the gun.
