So, will WoW ever have new content?

Blizzard sure hit it big with WoW, but it's been out quite a while now wihtout any content patches worth mentioning. I stopped playing myself a couple of months ago. Despite assertions that the game has tons of content already, the fact is I simply found it hard for my alt to do any missions that my primary hadn't already done.

Any word on new stuff in the hopper?

Im sort of in the same boat. Ive taken a break and Im at lvl 60. I could start a Horde alt for a different experience maybe, but eh.

WoW makes it pretty easy to get high level maybe easier than any MMO to date. I want more content.

I would still recommend WoW to new ppl, but I think Blizz is going to stall or put new content on hold until they get the Euro/Asian launches off and running. They are just victims of thier own success right now.

BTW my favorite ranty website on this is www.patchtimer.org

Love it.

Dire Maul, a 56-60 instance in Feralas, was in the last patch.

Patch after this one gets Battlegrounds and Blackwing Lair, the next raid instance.

So, yes.

And if you changed factions with your alt, you'd find that approximately 40 percent of the 1-40 game is new to you.

They've already launched in Korea, Japan and Europe. The only major Asian launch left is China.

When they released the last patch, they said that things that forced them (who knows what that means) to bundle it all up into a super-patch wouldn't be happening again, so patches would be coming faster in future. With a detailed leak of an apparent patch message out already, and the apparent likelihood of getting another patch in the next two weeks, it looks like they weren't kidding.

I think there may be bits and pieces in this past patch that are being left for the players to discover. I am running up a new character, and have found wandering monsters that I never encountered before. I would think I just missed them, but these are areas in which I spenet excessive amounts of time. The stuff is new.

And there is Dire Maul, which one day, with far too much more game time, I will be large enough to attack.
