Pathfinder 1E So you got the final Pathfinder and you see something you really LIKE

Another thing I like - the barbarian.

I always felt that barbarian rage felt less like Conan and more like a random berzerker. The rage abilities allow the barbarian to do things that seem more like I would expect from our Cimmerian friend. Animal Fury, Fearless Rage, Increased Damage Reduction, Intimidating Glare, Mighty Swing, and others give the player options to do things that seem more in line with Conan and other traditional barbarians. It's a vast improvement from the 3.5 version, which basically made him a one trick pony.

The way they changed the Barbarian makes me all giddy. I haven't really spent much time on it yet but I have nothing to complain about yet.

Awesome! So it looks like we all found something that really jumps out to us, speaks to our inner child (or inner demon for some of you ;)).

Happy Gaming!

Love the Sorcerer's Bloodlines! I've always been into the artillary, so my characters are mostly sorc/warmage types.

But I'm thinking that a cleric or pally might be fun to try now....

More feats! :)

I know it's been in the system awhile, so I don't know if it qualifies, but I loves me some feats! The more, the better, in my opinion. So often I'm torn between feats, and while I personally wouldn't object to even MORE feats, three extra feats over 20 levels is nice.

I'm pretty happy with everything I've seen and read so far, but I am dying to play a cool sorcerer (love those bloodlines!), or some fighter or monk with improved grapple who promptly grapples, pins, then hog-ties his hapless foes. Which gets me to the CMB and CMD values, far and away the most "d'oh!" rule in the book....it solves practically ALL of my old 3.X combat issues in two simple steps.

I like that PF is close enough to 3.5 that there's not much of learning curve but that it's different enough to encourage my players to start questioning assumptions. In my group, none of us seem interested in learning a new system, which rules 4E out (although, to be honest, I am quite interested in Mouseguard), but at the same time we're almost all up for something else.

That's what PF is for me: a 3.5 something else.

The classes are amazing. The wizard is particularly cool but, like others, I fell in love with the paladin.

The elves were nice. I liked the +2 to Spellcraft for the purposes of divining what a magic item does. But I also like the extra spell penetration.

But, it keeps coming back the paladin. I really want to play one.
