Pathfinder 1E So you got the final Pathfinder and you see something you really LIKE

I love, love, love the improved racial bonuses to ability scores. OK, it's probably not new to the finished product (and actually, I don't have that yet, so I'm *assuming* they're still in there. . .) but even so, Elves with an Int bonus (at last!) :D

Really, how long has it taken for the default D&D Elves to match up fluff with crunch in this way (you know, special Elven magic, Elves are great Wizards, Wizard as favoured class, yada yada blah) ?! Well, Pathfinder has finally done it. Woohoo!

And the others work too, which is good.

This was the first thing to leap out at me about Pathfinder, that I really, really like.

Specialist wizard abilities that are more useful and more interesting than just "here's another slot".

Sorcerer magic mechanically tied to bloodline.

Eldritch knight with abilities that are more useful and interesting than "you're both a fighter and a wizard, but even more vanilla than the fighter and the wizard, as hard as that might be to believe".

Elves with +2 Int.

Polymorph remaining polymorph rather being cut up than dozens of shape of X, Y form spells.

Curve blades. Playing a D&D warrior with a big, finessed sword has been my on and off obsession ever since I saw Michelle Yeoh kick Zhang Ziyi's butt in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Bards substituting perform for other skills (although the implementation might be somewhat lacking).

A greater impact of domains on the cleric overall abilities.

Half-elves that aren't painfully weak (also, to a lesser extent, half-orcs).

thus far

..like everyone else, the paladin. they were just 'ugly' in 3.5 now they have a 1st ed feel to them, ie , id wanna play one
