Extraordinarily good value for money, there is a massive amount of detail in this variant setting. The star maps are entirely accurate to the real stars and their relationships, and are worth the price of the PDF on their own. The mapping system is different to that of "the classic 2d6 sci-fi game", but makes more sense of the relative distances between stars. The future history of the expansion of Earth and the development its technology and colonies is an interesting one, engagingly described. It is an excellent alternative to the classic settings and the vast scope allows a wide range of campaigns to be played within it. The system UWPs and sample worlds, along with a fully detailed fmilieu (including new setting specific alien races) mean that there is enough material to start planning adventures right away. This is obviously the result of a great deal of work, and enthusiasm for the project shows in everyhting within. Highly recommended. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]
