Solo adventure for ranger

Hi, I am trying to teach my girlfriend how to play d&d, and need some help. We do not actually have anybody else to play with, so I have to give her some solo action. She wants to be a ranger, and I would love to hear it if anybody knew of a solo adventure for a ranger (preferrably low-level, but no necessity), or if that is not available, some adventure ideas perhaps..

How about... a band of children get lost in the forest, and the ranger must herd them to safety, but there is, say, a worg hunting them at the same time. If not a warg, then some other abomination like thing, hated by the ranger. It should be night, and the ranger should make lots of listen and spot checks, in addition ot the kids jumping at shadows.

This is actually part two of a four part campaign. I developed the series and ran my party through it.
With this outline it would be easy to make part two into a solo adventure, perfect for a ranger.

The main site here has lots of plot ideas, some of which should work great for solo adventures.
