The Savage Sword Of Soloman Kane!

I remember snagging my dad's issues of the magazine sized "Savage Sword Of Conan the Barbarian" from Marvel and being taken away from this world with it. That mag more than anything else fueled my early day's of D&D. Nothing better for a boy going through his "changes" than violence and scantily clad woman. What does this have to do with Soloman Kane you ask? Every now and then there would be a back up Soloman Kane story that I would be totally enraptured with. They were my favorite thing about the magazine, even if I only saw about five or so stories in all the years that my father read them. I must have played at least 7 different paladins based on Soloman Kane.
I still have yet to get the book everybody's talking about, because I still haven't read all of the "the Coming of Conan", but it's def. on my list.

I loved the Savage Tales, and I loved the Comming of Conan... Now I'm just waiting for the next few REH reprints (King Conan and Bram Mac Morn)

I always loved the Bran Mac Morn (and Solomon Kane, of course) stories. Any idea when that collection is coming out?

Yup. Next time someone disses palidins as lawful stupid all I am going to say is "read Solomon Kane, then talk to me about paladins."

I think that is going to be a house rule: You can't play a paladin until you have read at leat one Solomon Kane story.

My Kane paladin from 2nd Edition, though you couldn't tell by the name...*ahem*.
