No creature can suffer more than -5 of the same penalty, be that AC, to-hit etc.  Likewise, no player can get a bonus of more than 5 in each thing, like AC etc, unless it's from a single source.Also, allow a monster to become immune or resistant to the same effect if used repeatedly to prevent something getting stunned for 20 rounds in row.</blockquote>
