Some free Blackmoor d20 for you!

Hi all,

So, shortly after good Dustin Clingman gave us, the crew that runs The Comeback Inn,
your friendly neighborhood Dave Arneson fan forum,
the permission to republish the old d20 MMRPG episodes,
we published the entire first season of the Blackmoor MMRPG.

While we are holding back seasons 2 and seasons 3 of the MMRPG for a later, special occasion,
here's a little glimpse of what is to come, in the form of the module that I wrote together with Tad Kilgore
under the name Tales from the Old Land.

Click here to access the file.

(You will have to register, though, out of some legal reasons.)

Please note that the file is still password-protected.
You will find its password, and those to all the other MMRPG episodes, HERE.

Also, please take note that you will need a zipper progam younger than 2007
and an up-to-date PDF reader to access the files properly.

So, enjoy the freebie, and stay tuned for more news about the impending rerelease
of the second and the third season of the MMRPG!

Happy gaming,

Rafe

(aka Le Noir Faineant at the Comeback Inn.)

It was a living campaign like the RPGA but Blackmoor and very cool and I missed it all, but now I can relive it!

I wonder if there would be room to setup some sort of registration to run these in a 'living' fashion once more?

Thanks for posting these links!

Hey Thanael! :D

Darjr is right, it's just another word for living campaign; one outside the RPGA.

The Blackmoor MMRPG was pretty awesome, actually, in the sense that a lot of content was given away for free that other companies would have published for pay.

While ZGG got somewhat of a bad rap later on for the messy management during the end of the campaign, and over 4e, I, as a customer can say that they were generous with the MMRPG.

As to how to revive it, that might legally tacky, and also somewhat complicated, especially since Havard and I, the guys who manage the biggest BM-related site and community, are located in Europe.

However, we're trying something alike with the Last Fantasy Campaign, and it's sequel, Evensong.

If you're interested, come over to the Comeback Inn and give us your input!
