Some more miniatures.

More paint jobs from Tim.

Before the party was forced to leave the port town of Donegal they were being accompanied by a cleric of the sun god Jaar. Sargen proved his worth in combat during the expedition to the lost city of Korrada.

Okay. Back to the paint jobs I've done.

This is a Ral Partha Troll miniature. IMO this is by far the coolest sculpt I've seen for a classic troll.

An then there is the WotC Troll.

I hate this sculpt and I couldn't come up with a good 10 minute paint job so here is how he will remain.

I am impressed with the miniatures. I thing I have to ask is what company made some of them. I would like to know about the first mini you posted (the one with two katanas), the elf with the sword with runes, the mini used for Sargen, and the mini used for Veit Holderhek. This would be greatly helpful. I kinda need some of them for my campain. Thanks.

Psychognome, thanks for the kudos.

ThorneMD, the minis you asked about are:

Elf with two katanas - conversion of a Games Workshop Wild Elf Wardancer. That mini usually comes two to a pack so if you try to order them from an online vendor you might not get the correct mini. Make sure you can see the two minis that are packaged. The original mini carries two short swords. I converted it with two katanas from a Ral Partha miniature.

Veit Holderhek - this is also a conversion. The original miniature is from the Reaper Warlord line. The miniature is Durgam Deepmug. Instead of carrying an axe and a sword the conversion included giving him a shield and a different axe. You can see the original casting of this miniature here.

Sargen - That miniature is from the Chronopia game. I believe that it was from Target Games. I believe that Excelsior bought Target games before they went belly up and continued with the Chronopia line but I'm unsure of what the current situation with that line of miniatures is. The miniature is a "Judge" for the Firstborn army in that skirmish game.

I hope that helps.
