Guys, guys... Looks like I expressed something I didn't mean. I do use battlemaps pretty often, so most of the more general answers are nothing I don't agree with.
I was just trying to describe a situation where I preferred not to use a battlemap. To say it simple, the more enemies we have, the less often we use battlemaps.
