If you're directling linking from one of their pics, my understanding is that they frequently change file names and upload new and very inappropriate pics in place of the old ones.

Yeah... Although last time I tried, it didn't. The normal image was seen (and not just because of my browser's cache).

But yeah, better safe than sorry. The name "something awful" is perfectly fit for what they (may? used to? once again?) give you when you hotlink images.
