I'd rather treat Appearance the way Unisystem does - its a feat you can take. Gives you a bonus on social skills vs. the opposite gender, stackable if you want to take it multiple times. Dunno about ugly characters - d20 doesn't have any kind of drawback or disadvantage system.

Still don't see a need for any rules around sex. We fade to black for those kinds of scenes, and have no need for more.

Actually, all that is needed is statistics on fertility and life expectancy for all the races. You don't need to know how they do the horizontal fandango. Some people might even go so far as to list the percentage of homosexuals in a given society. For instance, there is the society of Sparta, which encouraged all of it's elite . . . I'm going to sicken Eric's Grandma if I continue, aren't I?

Well you can't beat a good Spartan dance, that's for sure. It wasn't for entertaining the kings of Sparta.

Most of it, if it truly comes from that book, reminds me of joking around in highschool during a marathon weekend session after drinking two gallons of soda. The stuff that made you laugh until you cry because you havent slept in 24hours.

Nothing that you would actually use in a "serious" game.

As someone said above, comedy gold. Of course, the BoEF is easy to make fun of.

I have not read the BoEF, but this review is hilarious. While I defend the Valar Project's right to produce the book, I must ask how much use the book will receive as a gaming supplement.

Also, that last photo was a bit creepy.
