Actually, all that is needed is statistics on fertility and life expectancy for all the races. You don't need to know how they do the horizontal fandango. Some people might even go so far as to list the percentage of homosexuals in a given society. For instance, there is the society of Sparta, which encouraged all of it's elite . . . Still don't see a need for any rules around sex. We fade to black for those kinds of scenes, and have no need for more.
