Londo: "Well I don't get it!"

Oh, thanks for reminding me. Penn played Rebo, and Teller played Zooty, right? I'm going to have give Zooty Teller a little magic device that talks in his mind, while he himself is almost mute. :>

Any advice for making this adventure fun?
Yeah, spend a little time brainstorming about any stray comments that you or any of your players ever mentioned saying about what would be fun to play in a game - and toss it in here.

You've done a good job of picking who these four gnomes are. Make sure that you add at least one interesting personality trait to each character sheet as well (a phobia, a slight mental illness, an attraction to something, a hobby, etc.)

Also, if your group is anything like mine they usually play a bit more recklessly when handed NPC's rather than their own characters. Id' toss in a 5th gnome as a straight NPC, probably just a low level fighter, as a reserve character just in case somebody dies early on.

You gotta love those Gnome commando raids. Anything with Gnome special forces guys would have to be fun...no matter what they actually were doing.

This is off topic of the conversation, but, I must know, RangerWickett, exactly why you preface every post you make with the  smiley, even the replies in regular topics. It's driving me mad! Why, why, why?!

I don't want RangerWickett to take this offensively...but I also wanted to share my thoughts.

I think you placed the players in a volatile situation where a LOT of things could go wrong depending on how they acted. And you did this thinking they just wouldn't act that way.

In my experience, you never try to too closely gauge how a group of players, or even one individual will react to a situation.

There are still going to be times when they surprise you...and those times may result in them either getting away with more then you wanted or some or all of them dying. That's how the dice tumble.
