Something really damn funny from Arms & Armor...

The fact that your getting a great hit on someone and your not allowed to see it? Or the fact that you can't tell if that great hit actually dropped the creature or not because its too dark? Or how about the whole ooo its now dark for no freaking reason. Just start tossing melons at the guy while he's charging you and when he scores a critical on those, run away.

Darkness can only be cast upon objects, not creatures. There's a really easy fix for that, but it's still really amusing in a damn I'm bored kindof way.

That and the fact that objects are immune to criticals, I'd guess.

That too, but it's possible that the enhancement was meant to function similar to the Disruption enhancement, meaning that even though you can't actually score a critical hit on the object struck, the fact that you threatened and confirmed is what activates the ability. There's maneuvering room in regards to this aspect of the enhancement. :)

I suppose its a good thing that items based on spell don't always have to follow the rules for those spells, huh?

That's just a cheap copout. ;) Besides, it's still funny, especially when you're really bored, like I was today. :)

You have to be really bored. I mean like "watching the grass grow" kinda bored, and that's really bored. :D

I was not really bored when I first read this thread, and didn't get it.

I read it again, now that I am really bored.

I can confirm that, for me, even if you are really bored, it isn't all that funny.

However, my extreme state of boredom did make kreynolds Pimp icon funny, once again. So, there's that.
