Soneillon. Part 1 (Updated 6/15)

- Mostin's probably used most of his daily spells now. And they are a week Wyre-time from being able to charge him up again.

I beg to differ. I play a 21st level Wizard, and it takes a lot to run me out of spells. I've been known to comment that I was almost out of spells, and then fight two more combats, casting two spells a round for both. High level wizards have huge numbers of spells.

On another tack, regarding Time Stop, we've decided to not allow Time Stop to stack with anything. No metamagic, no stacking with Haste, nothing. Basically, casting Time Stop gets you 1d4+1 other spells and equal move-equivalent actions.
We also (following the excellent suggestions in the Epic Level Handbook for Time Stop) have declared that targetted spells in a time stop fail. If you want to affect someone while you are Time Stopped, use area effects, or wait until the Time Stop ends.
Of course, I like to Time Stop with my regular action, cast some spells, watch what happens when they resolve when the Time Stop ends, and then take my Haste action to deal with the survivors. I find that multiple Maximized Delayed Blast Fireballs going off simultaneously work on most things, though. Particularly with Sonic Substitution.

I've heard this storyhour recommended several times, and I thought I'd like to get into it.

The question is, where to start?

(a) is there a compiled version anywhere?

(b) is it best to start at the very beginning (and if so... where is that?)

Cheers,

Thanks Joshua, that is very helpful.

I guess I'll have to start my own compilation of the stories if I want to get them on my PalmPilot for travelling entertainment :)

Cheers

Man, I'm going to have to get a Palm Pilot so I can have the SRD on it and this story ... which I don't have in one file and would thus appriciate a copy ( derekbecker@hotmail.com )

Sep, I feel bad that I'm asking for the story like this. Do you need webhosting? I could offer you a page on my site gratis.

If you guys want copies of the stories, I'd be happy to send out my compilation. Just let me know :D (I don't have this story or the SRD in just one file, though...).

You know, I sent Sep an email just last week asking him about webhosting and the compiled story, etc. I'm sure with all the dedicated fans here we could put together a pretty nice site for his campaign.

What's up, Sep? Holla back!

Many thanks. I've converted the first two to iSilo format, and I got halfway through the first part on my train journey home tonight. I'm enjoying it immensely so far.

Cheers
