:D Another Tom Lehrer Fan! *shakes hands with Thalmin*

Tragic moment coming up. It's from the spoken intro to the song "We Will All Go Together When We Go". I shan't post the lyrics here (way too much of a hijack) but they are here.

Ah, Tom Lehrer. The man who made me actually consider going to Harvey Mudd University (in the end, I went to UC Irvine, but HM was up there just because of him).

The Chemical Elements song (to the tune of "a Modern Major General") was something I learned in 3rd grade and has never ceased to amaze people... and also came in handy in Chem class. :)

Nah. Just make it 1d20. Roll four or five times for non-elves - seven for elves (to reflect arbitrary rules assigned to non-human races). No rerolling, keep the letters in order.
It works! It works!

Consider this taken.
To go along with all my other DM helper things :D

Bah; my name generator is the only true name generator. All the other name generators are just poor imitations of the real thing. ;)
Well.

Alllllllllllllllllllllllllllrighty-then. I'll be using YOURS to name my firstborn child, instead of his.

Then move on to your vowels. Roll one vowel to go in between every consinent:
a=1
e=2
e=3
i=4
o=5
u=6
Almost perfect. You get more variety with:
1 - a
2 - e
3 - i
4 - o
5 - u
6 and up- roll again on the consonant chart

For most races you use a d6 but for more gutteral languages use a d8 on the vowel chart.

Another option is to eliminate 'c' from consonant chart (since k and s cover it) and use the extra spot for no letter. This way words can start with vowels and sometimes vowels can double up.
