The main problem with the Vikander Tomb Raider was that the deviation from the plot of the games was, like, completely pointless? They put a fair amount of effort into make some important bits the same, so why were other important bits so different? Though I mean if they had ever made it to Shadow of the Tomb Raider I would have endorsed overhauling the plot because the story in that one was hot garbage.
