Over in this thread in Rules:http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=100334 and in other place people have discussed the merits of familiars as they realte to the sorcerer. IMHOP it seem that a familiar is more appropriate for a wizard, since to me it seems that the bonding process is something learned not innate. I don't see why haveing dragon (or outsider or whatever) blood means that you would developed a strong attachment to a mouse or a cat or raven or anythign else. In some specific circumstances perhaps, depending on the ancestry of the sorcerer, but not as an automatic class abilty.
Am I missing something? Is their a reason that familars may be mroe strongly associated with the Sorcerer?
Any of you designers out there who worked on the 3rded or 3.5, I would especially like to hear your input on the matter.
