Sorcerors powers for Clerics?

Unearthed Arcana is the closest version to the PHB Cleric, the only difference being spontaneous casting.

The class uses the Cleric's spells per day table (domain slots are merged with normal slots) with Sorcerer's spells known table (but of course spells known must be chosen from the Cleric spell list). The spontaneous cleric also automatically learns his domain spells.

Everything else is the same as the core Cleric, therefore it is very easy to evaluate this class. Also UA is OGL so you can easily find full information about the class on these boards.

Eh, they also get an extra spell per day per spell level. So, one more spell of each level per day (including domain spells), spells known as a sorcerer plus domain lists.

I borrowed this book from one of my group and had a look- I think this class is exactly what I need, and the fact that the book is a Wizards one helps a lot - hes always been more inclined to let Wizards stuff in than 3rd party.

THanks to all posters.

I have been having a look and I can find links to Domain Wizards but not spontanious Divine casters, can you post a link to the thread please?

All Clerics & Druids IMC are spontaneous casters. They use the regular Cleric spells known table, spells/day uses the same table (without bonus spells for high WIS, but with free Cure or Inflict, Domain spells handled separately). Seems to work fine - makes NPC clerics slightly tougher in battle, but less flexible, and easier to GM. Reduces PC Cleric power enough that they no longer dominate the game. Keeps Wizards as the go-to guys for obscure spells since they're the only non-spontaneous casters.
