South Carolina - Florence Game Day(s)?

I am currently investigating the possibility of running a Game Day here in Florence, SC. Would anyone be interested in attending such an animal? Would anyone (non-food-or-drink-related, I've already got something in mind for that) be interested in setting up a vendor table at such a thing? And does anyone who has walked this path before have any sage advice for me?

Hold it in Charleston? They have a pretty big gaming community, not to mention the Green Dragon. So you would probably get a good/better turn out. Plus the Green Dragon has hosted local game days before.

Depending on the date I'd probably try and make it down. Least I can do considering how many of these that you guys have trucked up to Raleigh for.

My single biggest piece of advice is to make it FREE. As long as it's free you don't have to care about attendance and can simply focus on it being fun. Once you start having to charge people for the event you buy yourself a big boatload of concerns that you probably don't want to hassle with.

Florence is only 1.5 hours away, so that would make a nice day trip!
