Sovereign Stone Magic Spell Creation

First off, I appreciate any help that you guys can offer.

In the magic chapter of the Codex Mysterium, there is an Earth spell that is basically Mage Armor from D&D (Range of Touch, adds 4 to AC, lasts 1 hour(D)). It has a CT of 60.

I'm trying to use the Magic System chapter to reverse engineer this spell. I cannot figure out the exact components that the authors used to get a CT 60 for this spell. (I'm trying to figure out the costs for AC bonuses.)

Does anyone know what the factors used in this spell were?

My guess at it:
Shield Me:
Size - Medium (4) x Range - Personal (1) = 4
Duration: 4
Total cost: 31 - power cost: 27
PC / 4 ~ 6

Thick Skin:
Size - Medium (4) x Range - Touch (2) = 8
Duration: 5
Total Cost: 60 - Power cost: 52
PC / 5 ~ 10

AC cost = n + n + 1 + n + 2 = 6 = 3n + 3
= n + n + 1 + n + 2 + n + 3 = 4n + 6 = 10

So the base cost for AC would be about 1 point, with an average 2-3 point bump due to playtesting reasons. This is, of course, by my reckoning, going by the formula given for multiple damage die. More likely than not, I'm off by a bit in my calculations, but it gets you close to the cost of two AC boosting spells (at 3 and 2 points off, respectively), so it's a reasonable guess.

I love the Codex (and how easy it is to generate spells) but sometimes it gets a bit confusing for specific effects.

I like your idea on using the damage dice system for that modifier to AC.
