Spaceship Minis

Does anyone know where I can find some good Starship minis? Maybe even... Star Trek or Star Wars ships? And before anyone mentions Mongooses Bab5 range: too expensive.

I'm looking for stuff to use with GZG's Full Thrust game.

I don't know if they are easy to get now, but micro machines had Star Trek and Star Wars series in their products. They were not by any means and not to scale with each other, but still cool.

There was also a short-lived series of Star Frontiers metal minis. Not sure how common they might be on an auction site.

I would mention GW's battlefleet Gothic models but they're probably far too expensive

Ral Partha used to have some Battletech Aerospace fighters that I thought would make cool spaceships for other game systems.

I think they are produced by Iron Wind Metals now.

Try to find some of the WizKids Rocketmen constructable ships. They certainly have a particular flavor and are collectible as opposed to WYSIWYG minis, but comparing prices they work really well I think and are better than simple counters. Of course, I haven't really seen many in my neck of the woods since their intial release, but you can get them online.

Many years ago Superior Models produced a line of spaceship minis for its Starfleet Wars game - the minis are available now through Monday Knight Games. They also have a matching line of ground combat vehicles.
