The Lost Destinations series by Alternate Realities Publications is on sale this month for 25% off the regular retail price. And no hunting of coupons is necessary!

LOST DESTINATIONS: WEST MILFORD is based on the real life township of West Milford, considered by many to be the epicenter of all that is freakish in New Jersey. Written from personal experiences on many visits to the township, this book covers many of the eerie oddities found here. West Milford is home to a small housing development in which Satanists supposedly killed all the residents in the 1980's. It is home to a dark, winding road plagued by cults and hate mongers, serial killers, strange ruins, and even its own particular breed of hellhounds. It is home to a strange metal tree sprouted in the middle of the woods. It is home to the crashed remains of a military jet that some say was never manufactured. This and more plague this 80 square mile township nestled in the mountainous highlands of northwestern New Jersey.

Lost Destinations: West Milford is a 56 page book illustrated in full color, describing numerous oddities in the township, along with their associated rumors and stories. We even include details on visiting these sites yourself, from providing directions, to instructions on getting the necessary passes to legally visit many of the sites as a hiker, to ettiquette for keeping yourself out of trouble when you go. Also included are two new incantations and five monsters. Web enhancements are also available. Buy it now at RPGNow

LOST DESTINATION: JACKSON HOUSE takes a different tack, focusing on what was once New Jersey's most famous unknown haunted house. The house was well known globally in the urban explorer community, but was virtually unknown outside NJ in the paranormal research community. Those who visited the house have often told stories of paranormal experiences. In the living room was a bloodstained player piano that was well known for playing music while its automation scroll lay strewn on the floor. The living room was also the site of a strange blue glow, as well as floating balls of light. The back sitting room was known for the names of visitors appearing on the wall. Invisible things ran up and down the stairs and across the attic. And on one room upstairs, you could watch a trail of black footprints appear on the ceiling, right before your eyes. Strange cries and the laughter of children were known to emanate from the attic. Getting in and out of the house was a danger, for the property seemed to be guarded by a flock of very agressive crows and at least three groups of people reported being attacked by a man with an axe. And yes, in 2001, we actually ran a Devil's Night charity halloween gaming event inside this building!

Two tales of tragedy and horror surround this house. The first tale establishes that the numerous paranormal events are the result of multiple hauntings in the home. They say that back in the 1970's, the last occupant of the home was a pedophile who kidnapped children, molesting and murdering them in that very house. The second tale relates that a married couple composed the final occupants. The husband, a drunk and wifebeater, one day beat his wife within an inch of her life in the kitchen and left her on the floor for dead. A day later, when she began moaning and calling for help, he dragged her to the attic and left her there, where she finally succumbed many days later from her injuries and dehydration. Some say that while the house stood, you could still find the tattered remains of her clothing in the attic.

Lost Destinations: Jackson House is a 26 page book illustrated in full color, giving a room by room tour of the house. More generic that the prior volume of the series, the book provides a number of essays on whay to use a haunted house in your game, as well as plot hooks specific to the location. Web enhancements for the product are due toward the end of the month. Buy it now at RPGNow

LOST DESTINATIONS: HE WHO HAUNTS THE BARRENS is the definitive book on one of the world's most infamous modern day mythological creatures, the Jersey Devil. This book covers it all, from his origins to the widespread panic of Phenomenal Week. Phenomenal Week was the week of March 17-22, 1909, which a rash of sightings occurred all over the Delaware River Valley, in which more than 2,000 credible witnesses saw or heard the creature known as the Jersey Devil, making the Jersey Devil the most witnessed modern day myth and gaining worldwide fame through global press coverage.
