Spell Focus - Still Worth It?

Seems like +1.5 would have been perfect for the feat, then. How about Spell Focus granting a +1 bonus, and Greater Spell Focus granting a +2 bonus, then? I mean, let a feat with a prerequisite grant a slightly higher bonus than one without. The same way Spring Attack is a more powerful feat than Dodge.
