Spell Focus + Wands

Mr. Wizard is 5th level and has just taken "Craft Wand" as his first bonus feat. Two other feats are Spell Focus: Illusion and Greater Spell Focus: Illusion. This gives him a +4 of DCs for Illusion spells.

Mr. Wizard makes a wand of Color Spray. The question is this. If Mr. Wizard gives this wand to another wizard, does the spell focus DC go with the wand?

No. Wand dc is always 10 + Spell Level+ mod of minium attribute needed to cast spell. THere isa feat that allows you to use your attribute instead of the minium one, but none that allow for other feats to be applied.

Yes, that is interesting. You could also choose rods, staves, wondrous items, etc.

Ya, but I think it's really interesting with wands. You can have a wizard who perfers casting spells through wands (well, I guess expanding that to othe magicaitems fits well with also). I think that could be a fun character concept.

Or 10 + 1.5 x spell level, if that wording is easier for you to remember, like in my case. :)
