spell-like abilities times per day - question

Though I have been playing with the interpretation A, I too can't find any rule text which clarify this issue.

But I can find some examples which suggest that A is the intent.

For example, In Fiendish Codex I, Dagon's stats block says,

3/day--quickened greater dispel magic, horrid wilting (DC 21), symbol of insanity (DC 21).
He can use "quickened greater dispel magic" 3/day because he has greater dispel magic as one of his at-will spell-like ability and Quicken Spell-Like Ability (greater dispel magic) feat. His use/day of quickened greater dispel magic should not be reduced just because he used other 3/day spell-like abilities.

You can find similar examples in the stats blocks of other demons in this book and creatures in some later 3.5e supplements.

@Shin Okada: That's a good way to look at the logic. Along the same lines, I looked at the advancement tables for white dragon. Of course, dragons gain - not replace - special abilities as they grow older. So a juvenile gets fog cloud 3/day, while an adult gets fog cloud 3/day AND gust of wind 3/day, and so on. QED B-)

I'm now 100% convinced that per day numbers are for each ability listed.

Again, thanks all.
