I did some digging on SR and found some interesting information... that kinda seems to conflict....
In the PHB:
"If your spell is being resisted by a creature with spell resistance, you must make a caster level check...."
That makes it sound like SR only applies if you are trying to resist... I.e. not a willing recipiant.
Now two paragraphs later it says: "A creature with spell resistance must voluntarily lower the resistance (a standard action) in order to be affected by a spell noted as harmless."
Now by that description it seems that in order to not make your healer make a Caster level check, you would have to spend a standard action to lower it... and that brings up the question that if you are under a Spell Resistance spell and you volunatarily lower it does that cancel the spell... and if it dosen't, what does it take to bring it back up?
And lastly, there isn't any problem with overcoming your own spell resistance is there (like if you have SR and want cast a spell on yourself)?
