Spell Storing Weapons

Here is how I'd do it - the caster level is the caster that put it in, but the DC is of the lowest needed to cast that spell. For instance a 10th level caster could still do a 1d6+5 ray of enfeeblement, but the DC would be that of a 1st level spell or DC11 instead of whatever the caster has.

Boah??? Uhg...confused. OK, why not treat spell storing weapons like any other magic item? You set the caster level of the spell, just like with wands, rings, amulets, gloves, boots, cloaks, lenses, crowns, hats, armor, and yes, even weapons. It's either that, or keep it really simple by just putting in the spell like normal. So, if you put in a 3rd level spell, it's a 3rd level spell. Myself, I support the first option.

Storing a metamagicked spell would require the higher metamagicked spell level.

Just as it does when you're creating a magic item.
