Spell Storing

Hi, folks!

I'd like to know if someone may lead me to the path of enlightenment concerning the weapon special ability of spell storing?

The description [see DMG] of the spell storing function of a ring of spell storing (minor) says clearly that the stored spell(s) are minimum caster level. How about the caster level of a spell stored in a weapon of spell storing?

I'm assuming that it may be treated analogous. Perhaps?

It's the common interpretation.

The Ioun Stone specifically refers to the Ring, so it certainly works at minimum caster level.

The Weapon ability does not... but it seems reasonable to assume that they are the same.
