Spell to Quickly Estimate/Count

Salthorae

Imperial Mountain Dew Taster
I know I've read a spell before that dealt with quickly and fully estimating the count of coins or objects in a room/chest/what-have-you...

... but for the life of me I can't find it's source and the search terms are too generic to find anything on the google-web.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas for me? I'm looking for a 3.0/3.5/Pathfinder spell here...

Thanks!

Did a bit of hunting. There was a 3e spell in Song and Silence:

Easy Math - Easy Math
Allows instant counting and distance calculation.
Source: Song & Silence
School/Discipline: Transmutation/
Descriptors:
Level: Brd 0
Components: T, V, S
Display: No
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Personal
Area, Target or Effect: T: You
Duration: 1 round
Saving Throws: None (see text)
Resistance: Yes (harmless)

This minor magical effect makes counting and calculating a breeze. You can estimate the number of gold piece in a pile, the distance of a gap you might have to leap, the number of foes rushing toward you, or the like -- all in a flash. To make such an estimate, make a Perform check (DC 15). Success means your guess is within 10% of the true figure; failure means it is off by 20% or more. The exact extent of such a miscalculation is up to the DM.

Diminished Effect:

Heightened Effect:

Magic Item Creation Modifier: BLANK

That is the one I was thinking about, thanks!

I didn't go back far enough to the original 3.0 splat books...

Definitely! I was doing searches for things like "quick count" or "fast estimate" and getting zilch, nada, nothing...

Thanks again!
