How much bling is a used spellbook worth? Where are the rules?

By the core rules, they aren't terribly worthwhile. A wizard can only prepare spells from it he already has in his spellbook. Thus, at best, it's worth 1/2 the normal scribe cost.

If you use the Forgotten Realms rule that allows you to master someone else's spellbook, it's worth core value of scribing.

... all those figures would be maximum, of course, adjusted downward if they are common spells or ones the purchaser has little need of.
