Spellbook Games is pleased to announce the release of the latest Adventure in the Inferno line, “Samael’s Tower.” Samael’s Tower is an Adventure location set in the depths of Hell, on the border between the Eighth and Ninth Circles, high above forlorn Lucifer. The Tower depicts the base of operations for Samael, Diabolic King, and includes a description of the grounds, 10 above ground levels, and 3 underground levels. The Tower is a great location for very experienced Adventurers and is a worthwhile test of a player’s ability, with a high degree of challenge and significant opponents. Some of the major denizens include Samael himself; Aodhnait his personal secretary; Cerdic Kiuriack his staff supervisor; Varkony his valet; Gwuiym, Grand Inquisitor of Hell; Jaironna, his concubine and her maid, Figstrith; Kashkarzahk, a Deacon of Lucifer; Kwalchar and Sveemok, Head Librarians; Neznai, Tower Seneschal; Solsep, Chief Historian of Hell; Vessawin, Chief Clerk; and Varsienni, Efreeti Ambassador. Samael’s Tower is completely compatible with Inferno: Journey through Malebolge and Gazetteer of Hell: Fire and Ice. Samael’s Tower is written using the Portal to Adventure RPG rule set (Spellbook Games), but can be used essentially as-is by Games Masters using the Original, First, and Second Edition rules of Dungeons and Dragons, as well as any similar rule set. Games Masters using Third Edition and later rules, and any similar rule set, will require more extensive conversion. The adventure has 176 described locations, 23 maps and diagrams, and 79 pages plus supporting information (total 109 pages); $4.12.
